Staying in Control:
The Lifecycle of Rogue Drone Incidents

Shifting the Power Back to Protectors & Defenders

Based on a wide range of counter-UAS scenarios, the Rogue Drone Incident Life Cycle framework is useful in analyzing incidents and possible outcomes for operational and security professionals. In this White Paper, Dawn Zoldi (Colonel, USAF Ret.), UAS and C-UAS Author, Speaker, and Expert, presents the descriptive framework to describe a UAS incident and C-UAS response using four progressive stages during which protectors and defenders can take action to intervene with various expected outcomes from different technologies and tools.

EnforceAir Remote ID Capabilities

EnforceAir Remote ID functionality provides the identification and location of rogue drones for safer airspace. Recently, the system’s capabilities have been strengthened to expand threat coverage. In addition, the system’s situational awareness has been upgraded with seamless merger and data enrichment of Remote ID broadcasted data with other drone information. The Remote ID data layer is now embedded across all EnforceAir products and configurations, including tactical deployment configuration and networked MSC2 system, with real time display, API and analysis and replay capabilities. EnforceAir supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) remote ID rule that requires remote identification (remote ID) for large categories of drones in the U.S, including identity, location, and altitude of the drone and its control station or take-off location.

Ori Abramson, Pre-Sales Engineer

OriAbramson-1

Ori’s great curiosity, interest in many fields, and deep passion for people and cultures motivated and inspired him to join D-Fend Solutions. He quickly became very connected to our end-user customers, as well as EnforceAir itself, based on D-Fend’s leading-edge C-UAS technology to address the fast-advancing world of drones.
Previously, Ori worked as an Industrial Engineer in hi-tech companies, until he made a major career change, and transitioned to work as a tour guide.

In joining D-Fend Solutions, he returns to the hi-tech world, and now employs all the skills and knowledge he gained both as an engineer and as a tour guide, while continuously advancing in the rapidly developing space drone space and RF Cyber.

“As a Pre-Sales Engineer, I am involved in the Sales cycle, while staying current with the technological side of our breakthrough solution. I have the privilege of showcasing our company's capabilities and the benefits they bring to today’s drone environment. It’s a dynamic role, as it combines office work, business travels, and outdoor field tests. Never boring!”
